We are still hard at work building hapayu. It probably doesn’t look like a lot of progress has been made on our website, but there is a lot going on behind the scenes and I’ve been spending a lot of time doing work “under the hood.” Just ask Christine who asked me today if I have officially moved into our office/guest room.

hapayu.com is being built with a WordPress template called X Themes, which is one of the top two selling WordPress templates on ThemeForest. It’s a completely new way of building WordPress websites from what I’ve used in the past, so I’ve been like a gadget geek in Best Buy pushing every button on every gadget, trying to figure out how everything works. So far, I haven’t taken down the whole website yet, so that’s always a good thing.

Overall, X Themes has been a good experience so far. I’m also using the other top-selling theme, Avada, on another website for Christine’s family. They are very different in how they work and both have their pros and cons, but I honestly can’t tell you which one I prefer… at least not yet.
